**If a legal ad is required, the fee is $120.00 (plus $10.00 if affidavit is requested) and you should make that payable to Houston Home Journal. A legal ad is always required for Year's Support petitions, administrations where petitioners are requesting certain powers and waiver of bond and for solemn form probates and administrations with any unknown heirs or heirs with unknown addresses.

 

Publication Fee Breakdown

$15.00 per 100 words times number of weeks 

Example: 200-word count for 4-week publication would be $30.00 x 4 = $120.00

Add an additional $10.00 for an affidavit if requested.
